Do you provide technical support?

Our in-house technical team are always on hand to assist with your technical requirements. Hire of our auditorium includes a dedicated conference technician for the duration of your event.

What AV equipment do you have available?

All of our spaces come with projection facilities and a laptop or PC for your presentations. If you have hired the Horizons Function Suite, then any presentations must be loaded onto our PC unit, in order to be projected. A template to fill the entire screen is available to download.

Is it possible to hire additional equipment for my event?

Yes, if you require additional equipment we can recommend an experienced local AV company who will take care of all your equipment needs. 

Can we view the venue before booking?

 Yes, we encourage a venue visit beforehand. This will give you the opportunity to fully appreciate the facilities we have on offer and meet our Events Manager who will be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the hire or facilities.

Do you have tables and chairs available?

We have a number of different tables and chairs available included within the hire charge. A full list is available from the Event Manager, who will be more happy to discuss your furniture requirements in the run up to your event. 

Do you have free WiFi available?

Yes, free WiFi is available and requires a quick registration.

Do you have onsite parking?

We do not have an onsite car park as a result of being located on an active naval base. However, we can arrange discounted parking at the official Portsmouth Historic Dockyard car park which is located in a few hundred yards away from the main gates.

Are your venue facilities accessible?

Lift access is available to all floors/meeting spaces.

Do we have exclusive use of the whole venue?

Day hire includes exclusive use of our first floor and the meetings spaces. Our ground floor will still be open as a visitor attraction to the general public between 10am-5.30pm. Exclusive hire is available outside of these hours

Is it possible to deliver conference material prior to the day of the event?

Yes, we are able to store a limited amount of conference materials/equipment if arranged in advance.

Do you have hotel accommodation?

We do not have our own accommodation however there are many hotels in the vicinity of our venue and within a short taxi ride away.

Do you have a cloakroom?

No, we do however have a number of cloak rails available to use free of charge, these must be manned by the organiser on the day and left at your own risk.
